    PASSION, HARD WORK AND DEDICATION

Hi! My name is Nada Wegrzyn, and I am a karate athlete from England, specializing in kata. I have been training and competing since I was 7 years old, working hard to improve my skills and achieve my goals in karate.

In January 2024, I earned my first international cap by representing England at the European Karate Championships in Georgia, where I competed in the Cadet Kata Female category. This was a huge milestone for me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent my country on such a big stage.

In April 2024, I won gold in the Cadet Kata category at the England Karate Federation National Championships—one of my biggest achievements so far! It was an incredible experience, and it made all the training and hard work worth it.

I’m also proud to be a part of the England National Kata Squad, and my school, Herts and Essex High School, even recognized my achievements, especially my selection for the Junior World Karate Championship in 2024.

As of 2025, I am currently ranked 18th in the world in Cadet Kata Female by the World Karate Federation (WKF). I’ve competed in several Karate1 Youth League events and EKF/WKF Championships, traveling to places like Italy, Spain, Croatia, UAE, and Georgia to compete against some of the best young karatekas in the world.

My goal is to keep improving, competing at the highest level, and representing England on even bigger stages in the future. Karate is my passion, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next! 🥋🔥!
